Actually, this is the first time I'm entering a contest, and the reason for that is that the questions really fitted me so well.

I'm a big America-fan and have had the occassion to visit 4 times in different regions. And The Lion King is for me forever connected to California. When I was over in LA, visiting the father of my boyfriend, it was exactly the period when the Lion King was born. And every time I hear that voice of Elton John singing "The Circle of Life", I remember that Sunday evening, being stuck on the highway at 11 pm, in a traffic jam (very amazing for me to see a traffic jam at that hour !!!), and the windows wide open (yes, another thing that was strange for me, being too hot at that time in the evening!!), feet outside that window, and singing along with the CD.

So the Lion King brings me back to a beautiful trip in a gorguous country. I hope I can soon see this remembrance in real life again ...

And what I find so fantastic about stitching ... Well, it's just magic, starting off with some little stitches and thread after thread a beautiful painting is revealed. Just love it, it makes me relax and it's a good way of meditating and giving one time to think over life.

Quit a long answer, but unfortunately I cannot stop talking when I speak about USA and the beautiful memories I have ;-))

I love the Lion King soundtrack. The music to the movie is just beautiful. My favourite thing about stitching is the gift-giving aspect. I love making gifts for friends and family! Thank you for this giveaway, the fabric in this kit is gorgeous. My eldest daughter is a Lion King fanatic so she would love having this stitched for her. I'll send you a picture of it if I win!

Hi Kim,

This is a great design, but I'm not going to join the contest on it. It won't be fair for the others since I have a cross stitching store.

I just would like to tell you that we are huge disney fans and we are going to Florida this summer for 3 weeks! I'm really looking forward to it.

I love little Simba.
Cross stitching has always been a past time because it was something my mom and I used to do together.

I love love love love this movie. Mostly because it made me cry :) Strange, but I usually just watch, without any emotions, but this one really touched my heart.

What do I love most about stitching? It relaxes me and it makes me happy. And I have made some really beautiful things for myself, my family and friends.

What I love best about the Lion King movie is how beautifully the animation and the music blended together to tell a riveting story.

What I love most about stitching is how relaxing it is. I also love to see the pattern emerge from the blank cloth. It's nearly like uncovering a long-lost treasure. So much fun!

Thanks for holding the giveaway! If I'm lucky enough to win, you can reach me at chara (at) mailpanda (dot) com. :)
